Large, vegetarian sentients with an ancient and highly advanced society living on the planet Hoti-Wazri, or Bedi-52-16 (Gelix.)  They have some of the oldest recorded history in the Kown Galaxy and are famed for their achievements in the arts and sciences. Waterways and indoor pools are a prominent feature of their agriculture and architecture, pointing to their ancient, amphibious past. They consume huge amounts of food to maintain their massive size and are well-known for hosting lively parties. The Akoi are incredibly strong due to their muscular forms; they have thick tails and horn-like appendages on their heads, which range in shape and size depending on the individual. Their skin color ranges from warm purples to dark blues; they have four fingers and wide mouths with fleshy lips.

Also known as the "People of Baazī, these sentients are a hive-organized society with one Queen that produces all the species' offspring. The Baazidath have four genders: fertile females, infertile females, fertile males (Drones) and infertile males - although the last category is rare. Only fertile females can become Queens through a special rite that promotes rapid hormonal changes (see Guzī Haizouna). They are a highly advanced society but extremely rigid in terms of social rank. The Baazidath are known for producing choulva, a key ingredient in regenerative medicines and beauty products (see Choulva), and for their crystal and glasswork. They live on  the planet Fädalz or Cyptra-30-9  (Gelix.), in the temperate deciduous Western regions of the southern continent. The royal compound is built into a massive sacred tree, which also serves as the capital, Douna Felouz Zīläthī. The Baazidath rule Cyptra-40-9 as the dominant sentient species ia a specist-monarchy with the entirety of the “race” considered royal with one absolute monrach. Queens can communicate telepathically with their Drones via their genetically advanced antennae. Some claim that certain great rulers had full telepathic abilities but most scholars agree that these claims are myths. 

A time period marked by a boom in long-distance space travel, interplanetary exchange and and technological advancement. During this period, the ICFP (see ICFP) and HSSS (see HSSS) were formed.

A massive, remote fueling station on the far reaches of the galaxy located on the moon,  Lulitagil (Gel. Nordani-70M), manned entirely by the local population of sentients called Yookip (see Yookip) .  The station primarily services ICFP ships and long-haul merchant vessels. 

The term given to mercenaries employed by the ICFP to execute particularly unsavory tasks. 

A race of sentients hailing from the swampy planet Yubalast (Gel. Gerbak-17-7).  The Drutochi are one of the few races among the Free Planets with an autocratic monarchy. Although they were among the first sentients to join the ICFP at its inception, their government has frequently clashed with the ICFP and other Free Planet members, particularly over the right to territorial expansion of Yubalast's neighboring dwarf planets. 

An ICFP order that mandates the near complete annhilation of a sentient species. Ostensibly reserved for only extreme cases where a sentient species has committed severe acts of violence - or controversially, when a sentient species has been deemed an irreconcilable threat to the Free Planets (see ICFP). There have been three recorded cases of Extermination Law, the latest of which was enacted against the Seghor Qaal. Survivors of Extermination Law are burdened with Societal Debts (see Societal Debt). 

The lingua franca of the Known Galaxy, as instated by the ICFP. Gelixian is the primary language spoken on Korsus (see Korsus) the ICFP Capital Planet. Abbreviated as "Gel" or "Gelix.". 

The capital island city on Moriquara (see Moriquara). The city is split into two districts: the palace compound, sitting on the highest peak of the island and the main on-land city. Globafula is renown for its beauty and opulence, both in architecture and denizens. The beaches of Globafula boast crystalline waters and flawless, powdery sand; the palms lining the beach are a distinctive fuchsia color. 

Hāgloß are sentients with an ancient and highly advanced society. They are well-known for their mathematical and scientific prowess as well as their involvement in intergalactic diplomacy. The Hāgloß originate and still largely remain on the planet Vamfhornn; its famous capital being “Nordir Kofäß” (Greater Kofas in Haglossian) or “Silver City” colloquially. Their appearance entails bluish purple skin with black vestigial wings.
